Reports are indicating that the every last piece which had been up on the shelves has been sold out within the first day of release.
Australia and New Zealand where the first of the nations provided Windows Mobile 7 for sale. No ones to why it has been sold out so fast, it could be because of shortage of supply or everything sold out because of the hype that has been created about the Windows Phone 7 for years. From the 11 locations of Telstra where Windows Phone 7 is available, some already have sold out with promises of refill by next week or availability of the LG Optimus 7 on November 9 and OPTUS is expecting to refill its stock of LG and Samsung Headsets.
Till now Vodaphone hasn't stocked up for HTC HD7 in its stores and expecting its availability from coming week. Windows Phone 7 is yet to be released on the U.S market which is sheduled to have it on NOVember 8th this year. Shortage of supply can seriously lose its market towards the android headsets. Operators are competing for stocks to put it on their shelves for sale. Microsoft is planning to release the device in more locations after the November 8th U.S release. Lets wait it out for the date and see how the developments for Windows phone 7 doing in the market in the coming months.
